Pressure Transducers

Piezo-Resistive Tech

IGBT Modules &
Traction Control Systems

Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) are the core switching technology in modern diesel-electric traction control systems, replacing the previous generation of Gate Turn-Off thyristors (GTOs) across locomotive, mining, and industrial drive applications.

What IGBTs Do in Traction Systems

IGBTs control the conversion of DC power into the variable-frequency AC supply that drives traction motors. They govern acceleration, braking, and wheel slip correction. Fast, reliable sourcing of replacement modules is directly tied to fleet availability.
